PLAYFEST
In 2013 Sonoma Stage Works produced a 10-minute and one-act play competition open to Northern California playwrights. 84 entries were received and 12 chosen for staged readings at the Rotary Stage of Andrews Hall, Community Center in June. Each play had a local director and actors chosen from an audition. Audience members voted on their favorite plays and six were chosen for full production over a weekend September.
These play made for a delightful and varied evening of theatres:

- He Had Wings - J.D. Blair
- Special Delivery - Malena Eljumaily
PlayFest is a biannual event. Watch for announcements of PLAYFEST 2015 in the late fall of 2014.
